Autumn brings one of the most traditional food events to Cigognola, in the Oltrepò Pavese area: the Sagra del Paese, taking place on Sunday, 18 October 2026, at Parco Feste Alessio Bonavida, Via dei Martiri. Organised by the Pro Loco of Cigognola, the event starts at 12:30 pm and combines traditional local food, a convivial atmosphere and live music.

The main dish of the lunch will naturally be polenta, served with a selection of sauces and traditional specialities inspired by the flavours of autumn.

The menu includes:

• mixed cured meats as a starter;
• polenta with braised meat;
• polenta with Gorgonzola cream;
• cooked salami;
• polenta with mushroom ragù;
• crostate;
• small wine biscuits.

The menu brings together some of the characteristic flavours of Oltrepò Pavese cuisine, making the event an opportunity to enjoy a traditional autumn lunch while spending time together in Cigognola.

Live music by Tri Urluc will accompany the lunch, adding entertainment to a Sunday dedicated to food, music and conviviality.

Admission is by voluntary donation. Booking in advance is recommended.
