On Monday, 17 August 2026, starting at 7:00 pm, the traditional Bocco Festival returns to the village of Bocco, a hamlet of Brallo di Pregola in the Oltrepò Pavese area of the Province of Pavia. This special event brings together local residents, holidaymakers and visitors to experience the authentic atmosphere of a small mountain village surrounded by the forests of the Upper Staffora Valley.

Organised with dedication by the local community, the festival offers a lively programme celebrating conviviality and the culinary traditions of the Apennines. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared polenta, mixed grilled meats, traditional mulled wine, and a variety of other local specialities, all accompanied by live music and entertainment.

The enchanting setting of Bocco becomes even more magical at sunset, when warm colours illuminate the rooftops and the surrounding woodlands. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the authentic charm of this peaceful corner of the Pavia Apennines, where genuine hospitality and local traditions create an unforgettable experience.
