Church of Saint Teodoro - Pavia
La Chiesa fu edificata nella seconda metà del XII secolo per accogliere le spoglie di San Teodoro
The church was built in the second half of the twelfth century to welcome the relics of Saint Teodoro, bishop of Pavia in ancient times and patron saint of fishermen, watermen and the shopkeepers who lived in this area of the city. Inside the church there is a wonderful fresco by Bernardino Lanzani dating from 1525 and showing a very detailed view of the city of Pavia, still bristling with tall medieval towers, in which it is easy to recognise the castle, the bridge, the Regisole and many other churches still standing
