On Saturday, 1 August 2026, the charming medieval village of Cecima, in the heart of the Staffora Valley in the Oltrepò Pavese area, will host a new edition of Serata nel Borgo, a summer event that combines live music, traditional local cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere through the picturesque streets of the historic centre.

Starting at 7:30 pm, residents and visitors alike will enjoy an evening dedicated to entertainment, authentic flavours and local traditions in one of the most picturesque villages in the Province of Pavia. Supported by Regione Lombardia and the Municipality of Cecima, the event celebrates the area's cultural and gastronomic heritage and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the village at the height of the summer season.

During the event, Cecima's historic centre will come alive with music, food and conviviality, showcasing the unique charm of this medieval village.

Visitors can stroll through the narrow stone streets, enjoy live performances, sample traditional dishes from the Oltrepò Pavese and experience the authentic atmosphere of the Staffora Valley.

The event is suitable for families, groups of friends and anyone wishing to discover one of the most authentic villages in the province of Pavia.

Music will accompany the entire evening with performances designed to appeal to visitors of all ages.

The programme opens with Nico e Franz, followed by I Pifferi, performers of the traditional folk music of the Four Provinces cultural area, a centuries-old musical heritage shared by Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria and Emilia-Romagna.

The evening will conclude with a lively DJ set by DJ Baz, who will keep the main square dancing until late at night.

Food stalls located throughout the village will offer a selection of traditional local dishes and popular street food.
