On Sunday, September 7, 2025, don’t miss the new edition of “Lomellina, the Little Loire”, a fascinating journey through castles, abbeys, and churches in a land often compared to the Loire Valley in France.
This year’s program focuses on two outstanding landmarks: the Pila of Sartirana and the Castle of Scaldasole, must-see destinations for history, art, and heritage lovers.
Program of the day-
11:00 am – Sartirana
Guided tour of the Pila, the ancient rice storage warehouse with its rural courtyard. The building also hosts the permanent collection of the international fashion designer Ken Scott, blending contemporary creativity with historical charm. -
12:30 pm – Lunch break
Optional Lomellina menu at the price of €22.00 per person, offering a true taste of local culinary traditions. -
3:30 pm – Scaldasole
Guided tour of the Castle of Scaldasole, a majestic medieval fortress with courtyards and richly decorated interiors, a remarkable testimony of Lombard nobility and history.
