On 14 December, the Duomo of Voghera will become an exceptional stage, welcoming Eric Waddell & The Abundant Life Singers, travelling straight from Baltimore. It is an evening devoted to the great sounds of American gospel, designed to give the city a very special experience in the atmosphere of the Christmas season.

The concert has been in preparation for a long time, with passion, enthusiasm and careful, dedicated work, in order to bring to Voghera one of the most appreciated names on the international gospel scene. The intimate and evocative setting of the Duomo will provide the ideal backdrop for music that combines rhythm, vocal intensity and strong audience involvement.

The choir, led by Eric Waddell, is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and is known for a repertoire that blends authentic traditional gospel with the sounds of contemporary gospel. Over the years the ensemble has performed in several Italian cities, winning over audiences with energetic performances, powerful voices and a musical chemistry that turns every concert into a true collective celebration.

As on previous occasions, this evening also brings music together with solidarity: part of the proceeds will be donated to Caritas, in support of its work helping people in need. It is a concrete way to make the Christmas season even more meaningful.

The organisers also wish to extend a special thank-you to all the supporters who, once again, have chosen to stand by their side and who, with generosity and trust, help bring projects like this to life.

The concert is part of the Golden Days Christmas Edition, the programme of events that accompanies Voghera towards Christmas. For anyone looking for an original way to enjoy the weeks leading up to the holidays, gospel at the Duomo is an opportunity not to be missed, to share with family and friends.
